Terms & Conditions
Definitions:

“The Company” means The Lawn Professionals Limited.

“The Client” means the customer receiving services.
-
“Services” include lawn care treatments, lawn aeration, scarification, application of seed, topsoil, and related lawn services.
Acknowledgment:

By giving the Company approval to start work, whether verbally or otherwise, the Client is acknowledging and consenting to our latest terms and conditions outlined on the website of the Company at www.lawnprofessionals.co.uk
Lawn Care Treatment Programmes:
-
Prices for lawn treatment programmes are based on a minimum of 5 visits annually, spaced every 8-12 weeks, depending on seasonal and weather conditions.

These services continue until either party terminates, unless specified in an alternative agreement.

Adjustments or cancellations to the 5-treatment/visit plan and visit frequency may require a re-evaluation of the quoted prices.

The Client can cancel at any time, or at the expiry of a pre-pay plan duration.
Timing:

Services will be carried out according to the schedule in the quote / proposal document.

Services commence on an agreed date, with subsequent treatments dependent on the effectiveness of the initial treatment and suitable weather conditions.

Weather conditions play a significant role in the timing of Services.
Quotes and Pricing:

Quotes are valid for 30 days from submission.
-
Pricing can be influenced by various factors, including material costs, which may rise with little or no notice, except for pre-pay plans.

Pre-pay plans are protected from price increases during the agreed plan duration.

The Company will notify the Client of any price increase in writing before they take effect (eg by email, invoice note, or newsletter).
Late Payment Charges:

Unless otherwise agreed, a late payment charge of 10% of the value of the overdue invoice will be applied after 14 days.

An additional 10% will be charged per month thereafter until payment is cleared.
Cancelling Monthly Payments:

The Client may cancel monthly payments at any time.
-
The Client agrees to pay the difference for any work already received that has not yet been paid in full by previous payments.

An urgent invoice will be raised for the balance, due within 3 days of notification.
-
There is no entitlement to reimbursement upon cancellation of monthly payments.
Cancelling on the Day of Treatment:

Cancelling upon the Company’s arrival may incur a charge of 25% of the treatment price unless there are emergency circumstances.

This charge covers operational costs associated with attending the site.

Pre-Payment Plans:

Prices and services are fixed for the duration of the agreed plan to ensure priority service.

Services, once agreed and paid for, cannot be changed or altered during this period.

Cancelling before the end of the pre-paid plan forfeits any outstanding treatments paid for, with no entitlement to a refund.
Satisfaction:

The Company ensures the highest professional standards. Factors beyond the Company’s control, such as weather, pests, other treatments by third parties, poor subsoil, poor mowing practices, dehydration, damage, and pet degradation, may affect results.
Underground Pipework/Services:

During mechanical scarification/aeration, tines excavate below the surface. The Company is not responsible for damage to unseen pipes or cables unless informed of their location before work starts.

The Client must highlight any services/pipes or cabling before Services commence.

Variations:

Depending on treatment effectiveness, it may be necessary to amend or revise the treatment programme.

This will be done using the most seasonally appropriate products for the Client’s lawn in its current state and within the season.
Products Used:
-
All agrochemicals/fertilisers will be used in accordance with manufacturer recommendations.
-
Product recommendations ensure control of pests, diseases, and weeds with maximum regard for the user, consumer, and environment.

Access to Property:

The Company requires access to the Client’s treatment areas on the agreed dates. The Client does not need to in attendance for the Services.

If the Company is are unable to gain access a charge of 25% of the treatment value will apply to cover operational costs.

Obstacles in Lawn:

The Client is responsible for removal of all animal waste, leaf drop, and the relocation of garden and play equipment before the Services.

The Company reserves the right to charge a fee of £5 per item of animal waste removed.
Responsibilities:

The Client is responsible for ensuring the lawn is properly maintained between treatments. This may include, but is not limited to:
-
Watering the lawn as required
-
Mowing at appropriate heights and intervals
-
Keeping the lawn free from leaves, debris, and other detritus
-

The Company is not responsible for issues arising between visits such as irrigation, pest and pet damage, footfall damage, leaf damage, mulch damage, poor cutting practice, or DIY application of additional products.
Complaints:

The Client can contact the Company via email at info@lawnprofessionals.co.uk or by phone at 07343 051208. The Company aims to respond the same day and resolve your complaint promptly.

Waste Disposal:

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the Client is responsible for the disposal of all green waste, including grass cuttings, moss, and thatch.

Health and Safety:

The Company follows strict health and safety procedures during lawn treatments. Pets and children should be kept indoors during the visit.

The Client should contact the Company in advance with any safety concerns regarding the products used.

Data Protection and Privacy:

The Company is committed to protecting the Client’s privacy and complies with applicable data protection laws.

The Company will not sell, distribute, or lease your personal information to third parties without your permission unless required by law.
​
Video and Photography:

The Company may use video clips or photographs of the treatment area for promotional purposes. The Client’s property and precise location will not be identifiable.
​
Insurance and Liability:

The Company holds appropriate public liability insurance. Liability is limited to the value of services provided. The Company is not liable for pre-existing lawn conditions or damage caused by external factors.

Changes to Terms and Conditions:

We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.

Updated terms will be posted on our website.

Continued use of our services indicates acceptance of the new terms.
